CHAPTER Twenty-two

Sailor

As we sit by the fire for a while, I start to feel more relaxed as the wine goes to my head and the awkward questions I asked pass by. Really, I just needed a way to open the door to my wanting more sex without feeling totally pathetic.

After a while of joking around about dinner, hipsters and Portland overcrowding I realize we are now both sitting facing away from the fire and facing each other when Tahoe puts his hand on my knee below where my dress has ridden up. As if his hand was on fire, I feel the heat travel up my leg straight to my core and my clit throbs with need. I’m sure he can see my arousal in my eyes as he leans in and pulls me into a kiss.

Tahoe’s hand stays on my knee but slides up slightly under my skirt teasing me with the idea he may move it higher. His other hand fists my hair and holds me to him as his tongue probes my mouth, I feel my nipples go hard and I wrap my arms tighter around him. By the time he pulls away I don’t even know my own name I’m so turned on and I keep my eyes closed for just a moment savoring the feeling.

“Wanna get out of here?”

“Yes,” I whisper.

“Would you like to go home or come to my place?”

“If I say go home will you come up?”

“That is a foregone conclusion, wherever you are going I’m going.”

We get up and walk towards Tahoe’s car. Tahoe wraps his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer to him as we walk. I do not know how I’m going to wait until we get there but somehow, I do. When we finally get to my door, I feel a million butterflies in my stomach and I’m a little scared my heart is too involved in what’s going on.

Before I have fully closed the door behind us Tahoe has me pushed up against it and is kissing me, his hands grip my ass and he pulls me into his groin. He is hard and his long shaft has me wanting so much more. When Tahoe pulls away, I want to cry and continue to hold on to his shirt in protest causing him to chuckle.

“We need to talk first remember?”

“I do, but I’m so turned on I don’t know how I’ll focus.” Tahoe pulls me more into my apartment and we sit together on the couch. Holding hands facing each other.

“Do you know what is causing the panic attacks?”

“Yes, but I don’t really want to talk about it.”

“Okay. Before you had the last panic attack, did you know it was coming on?”

“No not really, but I suppose now I would I’ve had so many since?”

“God you have? I’m so sorry Sailor.”

“It’s fine, my own fault for stuffing what happened to me and expecting it to go away on it its own.”
